We provide grants to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations that work to reduce food insecurity, provide health care services to underserved communities, and enhance educational progress within primary, secondary, and trade schools. Grant funds are available to organizations serving the Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties of South Carolina. Funds may be provided to support operating budgets, including specific projects, and the expansion of services related to food insecurity, health care services, or educational progress. What we fund: - 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that are addressing hunger, health, homelessness, and poverty in the counties of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester, South Carolina - General operating expenses - Program-specific expenses - Capacity-building costs What we don't fund: - Organizations that do not address poverty - Programs outside the counties of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester, South Carolina - Organizations that have been operating for less than one year - Capital campaigns (incomplete in source)
