Daniels scholarships are awarded in the spring to graduating high school seniors and are supplemental after other federal, state, institutional, and private financial aid and scholarships.

Restrictions
The Daniels Fund Grants Program supports nonprofit organizations in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, as well as programs with a national impact. For a list of funding areas, visit our website at www.danielsfund.org/grants/funding-areas. Students may use their scholarship at any two- or four-year accredited nonprofit college or university in the United States with an intention to complete a bachelor's degree. Daniels Scholars are outstanding young people who possess tremendous strength of character, the passion to succeed, a willingness to work hard, and a commitment to giving back to the community—all values that Daniels Fund founder Bill Daniels felt were critical to success in life. Daniels Opportunity Scholarships are distributed to two- and four-year colleges and universities in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming that provide scholarships to support non-traditional students including adults entering or returning to college and students from alternative schools.
