How to Apply

Realizing that the cost of preparing a grant proposal can be a major expense, the Foundation recommends that new applicants send a one to two page letter of inquiry. The Foundation will use this letter as part of its screening process. Upon review of your letter, a member of the Foundation staff may contact you for further information and provide access to our on-line application which will ask you to provide additional information. Your request will remain under consideration until you receive notification that it has been either denied or awarded.

On Unsolicited Proposals yes

Restrictions

The Anschutz Foundation operates as a general purpose foundation and provides grants to causes and organizations primarily in Colorado that support youth development and education, health and wellness, human services, and improving quality of life—with special focus on promoting personal values and responsibilities. The Foundation does not make donations directly to individuals or to any organization that does not qualify as a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Service.
