Description

Objectives of this project are to improve trapping efforts in the core area, to evaluate tegu population response to control activities, and to design and test a surveillance and monitoring program to prevent spread of tegus. Maximize the number of tegus removed from core area to increase probability of exclusion of tegus from valued ecological resources. Develop a surveillance program for tegus to monitor effectiveness of exclusion efforts.
