Section III

Description

This Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) seeks opportunities to co-create, co-design, co-invest, and collaborate in basic and applied research and development for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Partnership (STIP). The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) invites organizations and companies to participate with USAID in response to a Critical Development Challenge Addendum issued under this BAA, as described below, to provide innovations and technologies that further USAID’s development goal of dramatically improving or saving the lives of over 200 million people over the next five years.Cost Sharing, Matching or Leveraging details: Whether cost share, match, and/or leverage are required will be determined by the individual BAA Addendum, final award type, and/or the mutual agreement of the parties. Nothing in the BAA precludes reasonable cost sharing, matching, leveraging, or other exchange of resource arrangements, and proposers are encouraged to suggest creative approaches to resourcing projects. This notice has also been posted on FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov.
