Description
By using spatial modeling, research will provide clear pictures of changes in bird distributions and community structure through space and time. These approaches predict the impacts of climate change on particular species, which can serve as indicators for specific habitats, and design conservation approaches that will mitigate them. The National Park Service and National Audubon Society are mutually interested in sharing information critical to the missions of both organizations and creating opportunities to conduct professional studies of natural resources in park units to benefit park management.
