There is not an application process for this funding opportunity. This is a notice of intent to award a single source grant to the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments (TMACOG) under justification 505DM 2.14B(4).

Description

This proposed project will coordinate with the design and restoration activities funded by a grant to TMACOG to restore eight or more acres of floodplain along Upper Swan Creek in the Maumee Area of Concern. A conservation easement will be acquired, and this project will support subsequent restoration. Riparian habitat currently in agricultural use will be restored to wetland and involve re-vegetation of native wetland and prairie species, the creation of a vernal pool, stream bank stabilization, and removal of exotic species.
