Description

-Purpose. The ultimate goal of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to support research partnerships between community-based, clinical/services settings and research institutions to reduce the burden of mental illness, behavioral disorders, and HIV/AIDS through research on mind, brain, and behavior. -Mechanism of Support. This FOA will use the NIH Research Project Grant (R01) award mechanism. Only previous R21 awardees from PAR-07-004, are eligible to apply for the R01 grant. The R01 application must build on and further develop the pilot research, resources, and collaborations developed in the initial R21. -Funds Available and Anticipated Number of Awards.
