Research addressing basic and applied ecological questions of interest to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, other Great Lakes National Parks and the broader scientifc and managemen communities. Provides baseline information necessary to investigate and manage recent changes in the nearshore Lake Michingan ecosystem. Addresses Nearshore Health projects of the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
