Description
NCPTT is working closely with the NPS Climate Change Response Program (CCRP) to develop guidance, training, technical expertise, and educational products that support actions to preserve cultural resources of the National Park Service. NCPTT and the CCRP wish to undertake research with NSU to better understand the role of the environment on deterioration of masonry through salt damage. This task agreement focuses on the following objectives: â¿¢ Further the understanding of climate change effects on salt-induced deterioration in masonry structures; â¿¢ Develop mitigation strategies for climate change effects on salt deterioration in masonry structures.
