The United States Department of Interior, National Park Service is announcing a notice of intent to award; this is not a request for applications. This funding opportunity is to provide public notice of NPS's intention to fund the following project without full and open competition under Cooperative Agreement P15AC00031 with the Student Conservation Association, a partner under the Youth Engagement and Development Program.

Description

The project objective is to support and stimulate work and/or education and training opportunities for young adults through collaborative participation in performing GIS/GPS duties such as, managing GIS data in both file and SDE geodatabases; adhering to naming and attribute standards, and filling out FGDC-compliant metadata; providing digital or web map products upon request; and assisting the GIS coordinator with geography projects at the Southeast Regional Office.
