Model Acts Program

Objective

The purpose of the Model Acts Program includes: A) advising states on establishing laws and policies to address illicit drug use issues and (B) revising such model state drug laws and draft supplementary model state laws to take into consideration changes in illicit drug use issues in the state involved.

Who Can Apply

• Nonprofit Organization

Applicants must have expert knowledge and extensive experience in conducting research and analysis, providing technical assistance, and drafting model state drug laws, policies and programs. Applicants must also ensure compliance with all federal laws, regulations, Executive Orders, and public policies governing financial assistance awards.
