Objective

The Funding Goals of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) are to support the development and integration of advanced biomedical imaging, bioengineering, sensing and computational technologies for the improvement of human health and medical care and training an exceptional workforce that can address biomedical imaging and bioengineering challenges of the future.Center grants and cooperative agreements support large-scale, broad-based programs of research, usually interdisciplinary, consisting of several projects with a common focus.
