Objective

The Funding Goals of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) are to support the development and integration of advanced biomedical imaging, bioengineering, sensing and computational technologies for the improvement of human health and medical care and training an exceptional workforce that can address biomedical imaging and bioengineering challenges of the future. NIBIB accepts investigator-initiated applications, and applications submitted in response to a published funding opportunity. NIBIB's most commonly used grant program is the Research Project Grant Program (R01).
