Objective

To provide supplemental emergency mental health counseling to individuals affected by major disasters, including the training of workers to provide such counseling.

Who Can Apply

  • U.S. State Government (including the District of Columbia)
  • U.S. Territory (or Possession) Government (including freely-associated states)
  • Federally Recognized Indian/Native American/Alaska Native Tribal Government
  • Nonprofit Organization

Applicants may be State or local nonprofit agencies as recommended by the State Governor and accepted by the Secretary.

Who Benefits

  • Resident/Citizen of a U.S. Territory
  • Other

Individuals who were victims of major disasters.
