Objective

Implement and coordinate multi-center clinical research studies to improve the prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of food allergies. Identify the mechanisms underlying the development of new food allergy and the mechanisms of outgrowing food allergy. Develop immune intervention strategies for the treatment and the prevention of food allergy. Identify the genes and the epigenetic alterations associated with food allergy. Treatment of food induced anaphylaxis. Develop biomarkers to improve and simplify the diagnosis of food allergy.
