Poison Center Support and Enhancement Grant

Objective

The objectives are (1) to support Poison Control Centers efforts to prevent, and provide treatment recommendations, for poisonings and toxic exposures; (2) to comply with operational requirements to sustain accreditation; and/or achieve accreditation; (3) improve and enhance communications and response capability and capacity.

  • U.S. State Government (including the District of Columbia)
  • U.S. Territory (or Possession) Government (including freely-associated states)
  • Federally Recognized Indian/Native American/Alaska Native Tribal Government
  • Local
  • Nonprofit Organization
  • Other

U.S. accredited Poison Control Centers. Unaccredited centers are eligible for a grant waiver if such centers can reasonably demonstrate that they will obtain such accreditation within a reasonable period of time.

Residents of the 50 United States, Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, and the Federated States of Micronesia.
