Civil Rights Training and Advisory Services (also known as Equity Assistance Centers)

Objective

To provide technical assistance and training services to school districts and other responsible governmental agencies to cope with educational problems occasioned by race, sex, religion, and national origin desegregation.

Who Can Apply

• Local (includes State-designated lndian Tribes, excludes institutions of higher education and hospitals
• Public nonprofit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals)
• Other public institution/organization
• Private nonprofit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals)
• Quasi-public nonprofit institution/organization
• Non-Government - General

Any private, nonprofit organization or any public agency (other than a State educational agency or school board) may apply.
