Objective
Support from this program would result in development of new courses, new programs (majors, minors, certificates, honors programs), and/or revision of existing courses/programs.
Who Can Apply
- U.S. State Government (including the District of Columbia)
- U.S. Territory (or Possession) Government (including freely-associated states)
- Federally Recognized Indian/Native American/Alaska Native Tribal Government
- Municipality or Township government (inclusive of cities, towns, boroughs (except in Alaska), and villages)
- County Government (inclusive of boroughs in Alaska, parishes and other governmental entities with geographic regional control and authority)
- Other Local Government Consortium, Regional Organization (Intrastate), or Other Local Government Combination
- Not-for-Profit Organization
Eligible applicants include U.S. nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, public and 501(c)(3) accredited institutions of higher education, state and local governmental agencies, and federally recognized Native American Tribal governments.
Who Benefits
U.S. public and nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations (including institutions of higher education), state and local governmental agencies, federally recognized Native American Tribal governments, humanities scholars, and the general public.
