Objective
The objective of this program is to support States to upgrade and standardize state motor vehicle crash data systems to enable the transfer of state crash date to NHTSA electronically, which includes enabling electronic data collection, intrastate data sharing, and electronic data transfer to NHTSA to increase the accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of the data, including data relating to fatalities involving vulnerable road users.
