Pollinator-Friendly Practices on Roadsides and Highway Rights-of-Way Discretionary Grant Program

Objective
The intent of the program is to fund the implementation or improvement of existing pollinator friendly practices plans and projects, as well as encourage the use of best management practices for improving, restoring, creating, or protecting pollinator habitat in roadsides and rights-of-way. This Assistance Listing 20.283 created in August 2025 was included in the previous ALN 20.205, please refer to former ALN 20.205 for FY24 and FY25 financial obligations. The new Assistance Listing 20.283 will be utilized by DOT at the start of FY 2026.

- U.S. State Government (including the District of Columbia)
- Federally Recognized Indian/Native American/Alaska Native Tribal Government
- Department or Agency of a U.S. State Government
Eligible applicants for Roadside Pollinator Program discretionary grants are State Departments of Transportation, Indian Tribes, and Federal Land Management Agencies.
