Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Program

Objective
The Secretary of Transportation is directed to conduct an ongoing intelligent transportation system (ITS) program to research, develop and operationally test ITS and provide technical assistance in the nationwide application of ITS as a component of the surface transportation system (23 USC Sect 515). This Assistance Listing 20.273 created in August 2025 was included in the previous ALN 20.205, please refer to former ALN 20.205 for FY24 and FY25 financial obligations. The new Assistance Listing 20.273 will be utilized by DOT at the start of FY 2026.
