Objective

Addresses the humanitarian needs of displaced and stateless persons and their receiving communities, including returnees and promotes durable solutions—including voluntary return, local (re)integration, and resettlement and conducts strategic diplomacy with governments and stakeholders.

The Migration and Refugee Assistance (MRA) Account designates primary UN or IO recipient organizations. NGO or other private sector activities must be complementary to, and coordinated with, UN programs.
