Program goal(s) name: Improve usefulness of body worn camera information as evidence and the safety of officers Program goal(s) description: Improve documentation of public encounters, operational effectiveness and safety of law enforcement and correctional personnel, evidentiary documentation, and prosecutorial outcomes. Program objective(s) name: Support Law Enforcement Program objective description: Support law enforcement, prosecutorial, and correctional agencies seeking to establish, expand, or enhance comprehensive Body-Worn Camera (BWC) programs and have specified plans to implement this technology in a manner that maximizes the benefits of BWCs in that agency setting.
