Objective

Program goal(s) name: Build capacity of families and communities to help children exposed to violence Program goal(s) description: 1) reduce the incidence of violence through accountability efforts for juvenile offenders; 2) respond to victimization of children whether because of violence that occurs in the school, community or family; and 3) increase protective factors to prevent juvenile violence, delinquency, and victimization. Program objective(s) name: Support children exposed to violence Program objective description: Through a multidisciplinary team of stakeholders, provide supportive services for children exposed to violence in their homes, schools, and communities; implement strategies that focus on prevention and intervention of violent crime, and accountability for youth offenders; and build the capacity of families and communities to help children exposed to violence.
