Program objective(s) description: Support rigorous research and evaluation that helps identify and analyze the causes and correlates of crime; improves the functioning and outcomes of the criminal and juvenile justice systems; develops new and improved methods for the prevention and reduction of crime; and strengthens the justice research infrastructure.
