Objective
Program goal(s) name: Timely identification, arrest, and prosecution of armed violent offenders. Program goal(s) description: To develop leads to swiftly identify unlawfully used firearms and their sources and to effectively prosecute individuals engaged in violent crime. Program objective(s) name: Support law enforcement. Program objective(s) description: Develop leads using ATF’s National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN); Test, fire, and trace all crime guns apprehended; Increase clearance rates for non-fatal shooting and homicide cases; and Decrease the number of shootings in a community.
