Objective
Program goal(s) name: Comprehensive responses to hate crimes. Program goal(s) description: Develop and enhance comprehensive community-based approaches to address hate crimes, speech, and incidents by promoting community awareness and preparedness, increasing victim reporting, improving prevention efforts and responses to hate crimes. Develop and enhance activities to strengthen community resiliency. Program objective(s) name: Increase community involvement in and funding to prevent and address hate crimes. Project objective(s) description: Invest in community-led initiatives that prevent hate crimes through conflict resolution, community empowerment, and education; Support programs that result in increased reporting of hate crimes to law enforcement or other trusted community institutions; Establish and disseminate a catalogue of various initiatives, efforts, and activities that have been implemented by communities to address hate crimes by promoting replication; Increase access to federal grant funds to prevent and address hate crimes; Increase opportunities for organizations to share lessons learned about their programs.
