Objective
Program goal(s) name: Provide support to veterans with substance use disorders involved in the justice system. Program goal(s) description: Ensure access to services for all eligible veterans seeking to gain access to the VTC program; Help veterans in the VTC program with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders to gain access to treatment and recovery support services; and Reduce recidivism and improve VTC success rates. Program objective(s) name: Provide support to veterans enrolled in the VTC program. Program objective(s) description: Increase the number of potential participants identified and screened (i.e., determine eligibility) and assessed (i.e., identity criminogenic risk, substance use or mental health conditions); Administer mandatory and random drug and alcohol testing of program participants to help monitor substance use and treatment progress over the project period; Increase access to substance use and mental health treatment, as well as recovery support services; Improve graduation rates for all treatment court participants; Reduce recidivism rates; and Collect and track data for individuals who qualify and disqualify for the VTC program.
