Management Initiatives

Objective

To provide a variety of Bureau of Land Management financial assistance awards not covered by any other program entry. This program will support mission program efforts for the management, protection, and development of public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and continues to advance the Department of the Interior's priorities. Awards are typically supported by funding one-time specific legislation and internal projects and programs.

Who Can Apply

• State (includes District of Columbia, public institutions of higher education and hospitals)
• Federally Recognized lndian Tribal Governments
• Private nonprofit institution/organization (includes institutions of higher education and hospitals)
• County Government
• City or Township Government
• Indian/Native American Tribally Designated Organization
• Nonprofit with 501C3 IRS Status (Other than Institution of Higher Education)

• Cooperative Agreements (Discretionary Grants)
