Objective
Make grants and provide technical assistance to tribes for the development and operation of tribal departments or divisions of education for the purpose of planning and coordinating all education programs of the tribe.

- Federally Recognized lndian Tribal Governments
Specialized group: Indian tribes which are federally recognized as eligible by the U.S. Government through the Secretary of the Interior for the special programs and services provided by the Secretary because of their status as Indians.
