Objective
The objective of the Tribal HUD-VASH program is to reduce Veteran homelessness amongst Native Americans by developing solutions tailored to address the unique challenges they face.
Who Can Apply
- Federally Recognized Indian/Native American/Alaska Native Tribal Government
- Tribally Designated Housing Authority
Grant funding under this program is made to Indian tribes and TDHEs that are eligible to receive Indian Housing Block Grant funding under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA).

The primary beneficiaries are Native American Veterans who meet the criteria of NAHASDA and 24 CFR 1000.104.
