Objective
To advance understanding of hazards, such as heat, drought, flooding, and fires, and provide timely information and services to states and communities, supporting preparedness and resilience. The Climate Program Office fulfills NOAA’s mandated responsibilities under the National Climate Program Act and the National Integrated Drought Information System Act.
