To increase the effectiveness of research and develop innovative approaches to education in the environmental sciences by facilitating cooperation between government, university, and nonprofit research institutions.

Individual/Family; Profit organization; Private nonprofit institution/organization; Quasi-public nonprofit organization; Other private institution/organization; Scientist/Researchers; Sponsored organization; Public nonprofit institution/organization; Other public institution/organization; Organizations with interests in support of the NOAA mission to understand and predict changes in Earth's environment and conserve and manage coastal and marine resources to meet the nations' economic, social, and environmental needs.
