U.S. Codex Office Support for International Activities

Objective

The goal of this listing is to support agreements with organizations, institutions, or individuals throughout the world to conduct activities related to the sanitary and phytosanitary standard-setting activities of the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), including international outreach and education, in order to promote and support the development of a viable and sustainable global agricultural system; antihunger and improved international nutrition efforts; and increased quantity, quality, and availability of food.

Regional and Sub-Regional Organizations that support Codex activities; Academic and Research Institutions providing technical expertise or capacity building support; Non-Governmental Organizations involved in food safety, trade, standards development, or capacity building aligned with Codex objectives; Experts and Consultants, subject matter experts participating in Codex Committees or providing technical advice; International Organizations collaborating with Codex for capacity building or technical projects.
