FSA Conservation Reserve Program Transition Incentive Program: Outreach, Technical Assistance, and Research Agreements

Objective

The objective of this program is to provide education on the CRP-TIP program and connect landowners with expiring CRP acres with Beginning Farmers and Ranchers and Historically Underserved Producers. Technical assistance may be provided. Another objective of this program is to study and report on the reasons producers participate in the program or chose not to participate, and provide suggestions for improvement.

Eligibility for this opportunity is limited to the following entity types: City or township governments, County governments, Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized), Native American tribal governments (other than Federally recognized tribal governments), Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (other than institutions of higher education), Public, State-controlled, or private institutions of higher education, Special district governments, and State governments
