Objective
Through the Local and Regional Food Aid Procurement (LRP) Program, FAS partners with private voluntary organizations, cooperatives, and the World Food Program to implement field-based projects that provide development assistance and emergency relief using locally procured commodities.

A private voluntary organization or cooperative; or an intergovernmental organization.

The LRP Program focuses on developing countries in which the national government of the recipient country is fully committed to achieving the goals of the World Declaration on Education for All and is taking steps to improve the quality and availability of education.
