Objective
The Policy Research Center was established to collect, analyze, and evaluate data to develop policy recommendations for the protection and promotion of the interest of socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers. The Center will serve as a public awareness center that will provide education to the public about the history and condition of socially disadvantaged farmers and ranchers.

Only 1890 Institutions as defined in 7 U.S.C. 7601, including Tuskegee University, may apply and are eligible to receive funds under the Act of August 30, 1890 (& U.S.C. 321 et seq.).
