Objective

The Transportation Economics Division develops and promotes efficient agriculture transportation systems to help improve farm income, expand exports. and meet the needs of rural America. The division provides technical and administrative direction, coordination, and leadership in the development and execution of agricultural transportation policies. The Transportation Economics Division provides a basis for Federal-State decision-makers in regulatory, policy, and legislative matters in order to assure the transportation needs of agricultural producers and exporters.
