The principal and guidance counselor of each high school in Wood County, WV shall select a maximum of 2 students to receive the award, unless sufficient funds allow for additional recipients. A written application, which should be obtained by the WesBanco Trust Department, should be submitted to the Trust Department.

Candidate must be a resident of Wood County, WV, eligible to graduate, show financial need, and be of good character and reputation, unselfish and ambitious and possess the ability and desire to further his or her education at a college, university, or trade school located in West Virginia.
