Selection of grant recipients will be based upon academic performance, recommendations, sports and athletic participation, financial need and the applicant's demonstration of self-reliance and vision for the future.

Restrictions

The Mary Kathleen Kelley scholarship Fund will annually provide grants in an amount not to exceed $3,000 per academic year to be used for tuition & books for study at an approved accredited College or University to deserving students. Each grant recipient will submit reports to the selection Committee prior to the next academic year, demonstrating the recipient's continuing eligibility for grant funds. The selection Committee will review the reports to determine whether the recipient has maintained the necessary grade point average (3.0 in a 4.0 grading system).
