How to Apply
The foundation has a formal grant application that can be obtained from any of the foundation trustees listed above. The application requires submission of the following items: Organization Information: - Federal tax identification number - IRS determination letter reflecting the organization's tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code - Staffing chart for paid staff and volunteers - List of board of directors - Name of organization's president for past 2 years - Copy of the organization's accreditation certificate, if applicable Financial Information: - Copy of most recent budget, income and expense report for the 12-month period, most recent balance sheet, and proposed budget for the upcoming 12-month period - Copy of the organization's income and expense report for the 2 preceding years - Audit report for the past 3 years may be substituted for the above financial information Detailed project description including project budget

Restrictions
Grants shall be used to benefit the following organizations: 1) local Georgetown charitable organizations such as the Caring Place, Meals on Wheels, and other organizations established to help those in need; 2) charitable organizations providing care to crippled, burned or otherwise needy children such as the Texas Shriners Burn and Crippled Children's Hospital; and 3) charitable organizations that render aid to battered women and/or children. The trustees, in their sole discretion, shall determine the organizations to which any grants are awarded with the express understanding that such charitable organizations must have met the requirements of IRC Code Section 501(c)(3).
