Question 2b: An Online Grant Application Should be Filled Out and Submitted Through the Online Portal Located on the Najim Foundation website at WWW.najimfoundation.org parts of the application INClude the following requirements: Brief Statement of Organization's purpose and history. Project description and amount of funding request. Brief Statement of any Previous Funding Received from the Najim Foundation. Statement of How the Proposed Project Relates to the Foundation's funding priorities. Line item budget for project in which funds are being requested. Requesting Organization's annual budget, current balance sheet, and last twelve-month consolidated INCome statement. Project timeline (beginning & ending dates). Brief project evaluation criteria. List of other project funders INCluding pending and commitments. Contact Information of Primary and Secondary Person with Requesting Organization. INClude a Copy of the Organization's IRS determination letter.

Restrictions

Question 2d: applications are only accepted from section 501(C)(3) organizations. Only 501(C)(3) organizations located and serving children in the following counties will be considered for funding: bexar, atascosa, bandera, comal, guadalupe, kendall, kerr, medina, and wilson. The Requesting Organization must Meet the Najim Foundation's funding priorities. Funding priorities are to assist children with food, shelter, clothing, child abuse/neglect, developmental disabilities, education (prek - 12) (Out of School) (post-secondary), foster care, homelessness, mental health, medical treatment, substance abuse, and other children's charitable purposes. Before any grant funds are disbursed, The Recipient Organization must enter into a Written Agreement with the Najim Foundation outlining respective responsibilities and obligations of both parties concerning the grant.
