How to Apply

A letter of intent (LOI) is required as part of the intake process for new agencies planning to apply for a grant of $25,000 or more. The LOI should be emailed to the foundation mailbox. Following review of the LOI, the foundation team will reach out to the agency with next steps. LOI's are not required for existing agencies or new agencies requesting grants less than $25,000. The foundation uses a formal application, which may be accessed online at www.hcacaring.org.

THE Foundation DOES NOT Consider Requests FOR: Individuals OR Their Projects, Private Foundations, Political Activities, Advertising OR Sponsorships OF Events. AS A Matter OF Policy, THE Foundation DOES NOT Ordinarily Support: Organizations IN Their First Three Years OF Operation Organizations Involved IN Research, Sports, Environmental, Wildlife, Civic AND International Affairs Individual Public, Private OR Parochial Schools Churches.
