Local employees of Southern Land Company, LLC development projects nominate organizations who work closely with underserved populations, particularly those which benefit women and children, for review by the Board to determine whether the organization's scope and mission align with that of the Foundation. At the next Board meeting, Board members vote to determine what organizations they wish to support. Upon a majority vote of the Board, the organizations are provided with the "charitable contribution request Form and receive guidelines for Fund requests.
