The applicant for a foundation grant will be asked to submit a written request describing the initiative seeking support. The foundation also may request submission of one or more of the following: a statement of purpose, the target area the project addresses and the goals it hopes to achieve, financial statements, sources of funding (including other contributors), the organization's total budget, total project budget and amount requested, any bank employee, director, or advisory director knowledgeable about the project or initiative, a list of the organization's officers and board of directors, evidence of non-profit status, annual report (if applicable), and the organization's most recent public relations materials.

Restrictions
The foundation supports non-profit organizations operating in the communities in which Eagle Savings Bank and its affiliates ("bank") operate ("community"), as a way of adding to the quality of life for people living in the community. Eligibility: - Grants include support for program development, new and expanded facilities, and equipment. - Grants are limited to use in the market areas served by the bank. - Recipients must demonstrate 501(c)(3) or other non-profit status, a need for private financial support and a direct relevance to the foundation's areas of giving interest. - No grants for political organizations or candidates for political office or activities for sectarian purposes. - No grants to individual endeavors other than scholarships. - Officers, directors and employees of the bank are not eligible to receive grants.
