SAFE provides utility payment vouchers to social welfare organizations in the service area of Sierra Pacific Power Company, d/b/a NV Energy, in Nevada. The vouchers are distributed by the welfare organizations to those who need financial assistance to pay utility bills because of illness, family crisis, unemployment, or low income. SAFE will only make contributions to welfare organizations and not to individuals.
