How to Apply

The First Seacoast Community Foundation, Inc. provides financial support to established 501(c)(3) organizations and other public charities that share the Foundation's commitment to making Seacoast communities better places to live and work. Applications can be completed on the website: https://www.firstseacoastbank.com/charitable-giving Applicants must provide a copy of their 501(c)(3) determination letter from the IRS and a W-9. Following successful completion of the online application form, applicants will receive an auto-generated confirmation email from no-reply@kadince.com. All requests will be reviewed by the First Seacoast Community Foundation Board of Directors. Applicants will be notified of approval or denial within 30-45 business days of the submission date if your request totals $5,000 or less. For requests in excess of $5,000 you will be notified within 45-90 days of the submission date.

Restrictions

The Foundation provides financial support to established 501(c)(3) nonprofits and charities that share the commitment of strengthening Seacoast communities. Funding is prioritized according to the Foundation's budget and primary focus areas, which include: education; health and human services; youth programs; and housing. We do not support religious or political organizations, or political candidates. All funding requests will be reviewed in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner to ensure that they align with the Foundation's policies and mission. The Foundation will consider funding requests that are related to the Foundation's priorities; include a clear strategy for success; produce cost-effective results; stimulate community problem solving; and/or that demonstrate sustainability and long-term growth opportunities.
