How to Apply
The Providence Foundation accepts recommendations each year from Proje Espwa. Proje Espwa uses yearly forms and applications, conducts interviews, and consults with teachers and staff prior to making recommendations to the foundation. Each recommendation is evaluated by the board.

Restrictions
In order to be considered, students must be enrolled in Project ESPWA located in Les Cayes, Haiti. Students must be able to demonstrate the ability to read and write the English language, meet the criteria to obtain a United States visa, and be preapproved and accepted by a community college, university, or other accredited education or training institution. A seven-member selection committee evaluates the candidates based on interviews with the candidate, director evaluations of character and attitude, results of each candidate's TOEFL examination, results of national examinations, and any other scholarships available to students.
