Section I

How to Apply

Candidates will submit applications to selected qualifying institutions which will identify candidates. Once identified, the applications will be sent to the board of directors. These applications include personal identification information, as well as academic information and activities, and should be submitted via paper. Major, class status, cumulative GPA, anticipated graduation date, other outside scholarships and awards, and extracurricular activities are required as part of the application process. In addition, applicants must also complete FAFSA applications to determine financial need.

Restrictions

No disqualified person (as defined by the Code), including members of the Foundation's Board of Directors, officers or substantial donors, or a family member of any of the foregoing, will be eligible to receive a scholarship. Scholarship recipients must be United States citizens and be in need of financial assistance. Academic performance in secondary school will be considered for entering freshmen. For students who are not entering freshmen, recipients must maintain a grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.
